We got back home this morning at 2:50am, which means we made very good time. Katrina fell asleep by the time we were out of Wilmore, and slept the whole way. She did wake up enough to look around, make some wide eyed faces, go "Waah hah hem" and go back to sleep. That happened twice. Houston fell asleep about ten minutes later, to wake up only when we got gasoline. This means i could listen to my music the whole way! How exciting! Antony gave me an album that blows my mind. It's
blumenkraft by Ott. Worlds of sound... like the Ozric Tentacles (in fact, while driving, i was so overcome with the similarities, i was convinced that his name was an acronym for Ozric Tentacles Ted or Tim or some other name that starts with T. But i don't think it's anybody from the Ozrics) but more laid back and groovy. Maybe, just maaaybe some of my coworkers or my only wife will be able to tolerate it.
Um, besides that, Karen's computer is hideously infected with insidiously pathogenic code. I've been trying to get it cleaned out. It's a nightmare. So she needs to use my computer to do her post tonight, which is great because she'll have pictures! So go check her post of tonight!
Oh, and i'd like to say that The Gimp rocks. Everywhere i go (like, you know, Kentucky) i can simply download the software legitimately, install it, configure it, and have exactly what i need! Daddy watched me do a little photo editing with it, thought, and he said "Wow, you have to do stuff the hard way with that program". I guess there's easy programs that do the same thing, but they're not for me! I'm a geek! I need to use complex, unintuitive tools! Okay bye.
