Oh my. I just slapped a fly right out of the air with my hands. Plus, here's today's picture.

I was gonna do an experiment today. It's called "going to bed." See, last night i was spending a lot of time tidying my computer area, in the process finding an important VHS cassette cover and a letter our sponsored kid from Africa sent us (it's really cute: "In the evenings at home i fetch water. In my life i like to eat rice.") I sat down at my sparkling clean workstation area, wrote my post, and initialized a new hard drive i got to replace one that died. Dead dead. It's a good thing all the data was backed up. Anyway, i initialized the drive and suddenly the other big 200gig drive i have freaked out, named itself "MAXTOR 8902375 $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $" and that many dollar signs is not usually good but when a hard drive names itself that and absent mindedly misplaces over 150 gigs of data, much of it unique stuff i made myself, it's kind of a bad thing. So i was up until 3:30am recovering everything.

Um, my point is that i'm tired. I'm gonna try to go to bed very soon after i get home tonight. It'll be really weird.

Oh... another thing i found yesterday during a break between vacuuming and picking up Little People toys is this. Oh man is it cool! You make the music AND the visuals... it is cool, right? Of course, i love this kind of hypnotic repetetive rhythmic music. Maybe fans of "words" or "planned composition" might find it too random, annoying and weird... and i do find the fact that the tempo isn't consistant between tracks, and some buttons you push start the main beat over. Small quibbles, but it rocks my socks - er - flip flops off.
