amateur photography

One of the kids at work wanted to take pictures with my camera today, so i gave her free use of it for about 1.5 hours. The results are fun to see! A few examples follow, on the rest of the post.
In the meantime, check out this whole tutorial about Tetraspace. Four dimensions!!! Eric thinks Heaven may end up being four dimensional, and if we look at Plato-esque ideas in the Bible (down where it says "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face"), we see that heaven WILL be a whole lot MORE than what we experience now. And a 3D "realmspace" could hang on a 4D universe wall, and swing back and forth, scraping the wall as it goes. So 3D is just as flat to 4D'ers as 2D (mirror or painting) is to us 3d'ers.
A three-legged stool would ALWAYS fall over in a four dimensional universe.
When i was eight or nine, i was given a 110 camera. I burned up a couple rolls, focusing on things like a window. Or a tree. Look, it's grass! A cow! We had cows.

If i'd been given a digital camera, i'd have burned up battery charge after battery charge... just like the girl did with my camera. There are much better ones, but mostly ones including her or her peers, which i gotta delete. Oh well.

You MIGHT be able to balance a stool in 4D on its three legged “edge”...

Sure, you could balance a 3 legged stool if the parts that contacted the ground were wide enough, same as you could balance a two (or one) legged stool here if the legs were big and chunky. Maybe a tripod would be a better object to illustrate than a stool.
And just like adding a wheel to a normal 3D car won’t add significantly to stability, and 3 wheeled cars are hard to make safe, so a 4 wheeled car in a 4D universe would benefit enormously by a fifth wheel.
Finally… that alkaline site taught me that tire tracks are 3D, extended rectangular box shapes. WEIRD.

You have to answer this silly question because it keeps spammers off my site:
What are the last three letters of Juanito's name?
