Henry Potters
Or whatever...
The reason i chose that picture is because Harry flies around on a broomstick, that that's a fly.
There's a class they take all about divination, and it's interesting that everybody is so skeptical of the teacher, and how she is cast as a kooky fraud who just makes stuff up. Fascinating, because in Harry Potter's world, magic, spirits, spells and so on are totally normal. Nobody actually runs around pointing long pencils at stuff and saying alomohora or wingardium leviosa, but people actually use tea leaves and palm reading to try to tell the future. Harry Potter and friends mock this kind of "magic".
So...... maybe all the fundies who shudder at the thought of our youngster's minds being corrupted by demonic witchcraft are wrong!!! I haven't been able to spot any signs of actual witchcraft in the books so far besides the crystal balls and tea leaf readings that were mocked in book three. Even the evil wizards don't use pentagrams. So the whole universe is plainly FICTIONAL.
but it's lots of fun to poke fun at fundamentals.
Um…have you actually READ that Harry Potter site? I’m pretty sure it’s not actually written by a fundamentalist. Seems like a satire to me.
