Happy New Year!!!!!!!11

Or... new year's eve... since this is now 2005 but i'm still writing yesterday's post...
I was thinking how much of a bummer it was gonna be that i don't have anything to talk about on this, the last day of the year. It was fifty-four degrees outside today, which i think we can all agree is absurd and ridiculous. Not acceptable. Jim my bro-in-law said he found me a good snowboard for $50, and i want to use it! So what's up with that?
Speaking of my material possessions, my camera is working fine, but needs delicate treatment and now when you take a picture, the display on the back of the camera changes instantly back to what-the-camera-is-looking-at mode instead of staying on picture-you-just-took mode for a second. I think my dear camera is on a slow ramp to "just too broken to use" but you'd better believe i'm going to baby it along as much as i can baby anything along. I'm not good at that. And my mp3 player is behaving like a champ. Today in the office i had at least three people amazed (to the point of giggling) that it can broadcast music via an empty FM frequency. I even set it to 104.5, which is the hip-hop station that all the mindless little automatons listen to, and if i get close enough, i can make their radio say "hey Chutney, turn down your radio" which is a message i recorded with the mp3 player's voice record option. Except i used the girl's real name, not "Chutney". That's an Indian sweet and savory sauce. But there is more news.
On the way home tonight, i passed on a shoulder-less stretch of the freeway a couple people carrying pillows and a small bag. No, i thought to myself, these people can not walk right now like this. So i stopped and they got in my li'l-putt-putt and i was like "where ya going?" and they said "Illi-noise" and i was like "uh, you're going totally the wrong way... it's over there" and pointed behind me and to the right, and asked "what's up?" so the girl told me a story which can be summed up with cynicism and brevity like this:
"I'm hot tempered and irrational, and my roommates finally kicked me out today." I work with (and love) a lot of people like that, so i'm not trying to be mean, just realistic. Fay told me about friends in Illinois, St. Louis, ex-roommates, ex-friends and ex-boyfriends, and Kevin has lived in Arizona and Nova Scotia and wants to be a truck driver. Neither of them have been in Michigan over a couple years.
It was half an hour until the brand new year, and my heart went out to them. I've helped people before, but never had the opportunity to show generosity like this before, so we welcomed them into our home to celebrate the turning of the year. And to warm up and get a bite to eat. They seemed a little out of place but very appreciative. My heart overflows with gratitude to GOD for the opportunity to so significantly bless others. I pray that HE used me to pursue Fay and Kevin.
In related news, one of my coworkers dreamt recently that she fell off a bridge and i saved her. She said it might have been just after the night when i had to drag a resident off another resident as my coworker was trying to seperate the two. It's kind of weird to have that kind of confirmation that i really exist in other people's minds. They think of me. Like, totally weird.

Father in heaven, we ask you to specifically bless Fay and Kevin in the journey they are on – physical and spiritual. Mostly the latter Lord. Amen

You have to answer this silly question because it keeps spammers off my site:
What are the last three letters of Juanito's name?
