We're back!!!

Okay, lots of people who update their weblogs really sporadically, so i'm not going to freak out about being AWOL for the last four days. Or our sites being AWOL. Although that was a bit sad. Two or three people actually called us saying "uh, you know your site is down?" Wow. People care. And i know that last weblog is updated regularly. My boss Dave likes to write.
Being off the net had little weird effects on me. First, i didn't have the internet to use for entertainment or education. Wanna surf for a minute? Cant!!! Wanna know exactly what ad hoc means? Cant!!! Rats. I ended up playing 1nsane a while, both with and without Houston. It's a really fun game with really good vehicle physics and decent graphics for a six year old game.
There was a little more spare time to read books. I finished two books in four days.
The weirdest thing was going through my day thinking "ooh, i gotta write about that" and then remembering that i can't post. So, i'll do a little run down of the last four days.

On Friday night, we had our LAN party. It was pretty fun. After i got set up, we started out playing Call of Duty, which has never been one of my favorite games. This time, however, i kind of figured it out a bit better with the weapons and stuff, and enjoyed it a lot. I did well. Then we played Star Wars Battlefront. It's set in the Star Wars universe, which makes it super cool, but i don't like the weapons at all. They're kind of underpowered and slow. The vehicles kick booty, though. We didn't play any deathmatch at all, which is one of my more favorite gameplay modes since it pits everyone against everyone else. I usually come out in the top three, which is selfishly rewarding.
Saturday was spent in a frenzy of brain chemicals which were sternly telling me how tired i was, and arguing with caffiene on the side. I think i played a lot with the kids, and then went to work. We slept (or didn't sleep) over at Mom and Dad's house, and i then worked Sunday morning.
Sunday we both worked, which is weird. We used to work together so often that we'd carpool twice a week sometimes. Weird. Kids will change your life! But we then had the easter egg hunt, which i was looking forward to, since last year's was such a fertile ground for funniness. But we instead took many pictures of Houston finding easter eggs. I found two, and ate the chocolate in them within minutes.
Monday was my day off, so i took care of the kids and stuff. I think i went outside only once - to go shopping. Boy, what a loser i can be.
Tuesday we went to the park and got like infinity cute shots of our gorgeous chil'ren. And Karen's no slouch either in the looks department.
And that brings us to today, Wednesday. I found out that sperm whales excrete this weird stuff called ambergris, which is used in expensive perfume. That's gotta be the highlight of my day. No wait... playing with the kids was the highlight of my day.
Oh yeah, my buddy Michelle is in Korea right now!!! I just don't know what to say about that. I hope she and Rachel have so much fun. I'm sure it will be an experience they will both of them remember forever.
Oh yeah yeah... i tweaked Firefox today and am totally amazed by the apparent speed change. Those tweaks turn a fantastic browser into a stupentastic browser.
I’m glad you guys are back- it’s no fun to try to read about your lives and not be able to! Also Juanito- you were excessively funny at yl tonight- although quite disgusting too! My boys just raved about you all the way home!
