Four things to post about today. When Houston and Katrina were in the car today with me going to the library for Story Time and Lap Time, Houston was asking about a bandana. He said "Daddy, why does a bandaid, i mean bandaid, i mean bandaid, i mean bandaid, i mean bandaid" -- he seriously said it about seven times -- and finally said "Daddy, what is this thing?" so i told him. I really thought he was making a joke the first four times, but he kept saying it like his mind was in a feedback loop or something. We had a good chuckle about that.

Then Katrina waved bye bye to the Information Desk lady at the library all the way out the door, like every three steps, turn around, wave and say "Bye bye!" She's irresistably cute.

Then, after nearly everyone napped, we went to Jackie and Eric's house for dinner which was so great. Good people.

And i'm done reading 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Nearly every main male character is named one or two of these three names: Aureliano, Jose, or Arcadio. That is only one of the things which makes this book confusing yet rewarding to unravel, with dedication and a distraction free environment. It's good, and i guess i'd recommend it, but i felt a little let down, since it came so highly recommended, like, "...his brilliant novel of love and loss in Macondo stands at the apex of 20th-century literature.", apex? Wow, if it's at an apex, it must be awesome. So now i'm reading silly, clever British sci-fi. I'm reading the first book in Terry Pratchett's Discworld mega saga, which is over 30 books long. So i'm set for a while.

You have to answer this silly question because it keeps spammers off my site:
What are the last three letters of Juanito's name?
